The terms of PrivaCheckup

Who we are, and who may use the site

• PrivaCheckup is run by Resoftwa Middle East (FZE), Sharjah, UAE. These terms are between you and Resoftwa Middle East (FZE).
• The service is for people in India and the UAE.
• You must be 18 or older. You confirm this before your first code.
• PrivaCheckup is for people checking themselves. A business that wants to use it for its staff or customers needs a separate agreement.
• Using PrivaCheckup means you accept these terms and the privacy notice. Paying means you accept them again: the line next to every buy button says so.
• Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under consumer law.

Check only yourself

• You may check only an email address, a phone number or a photo that is yours. You prove an email or a number with the one-time code we send to it.
• A phone check needs a verified email first, and you pay for it before we send the code.
• Photo search is only for a photo of you, or a photo you own, with nobody under 18 in it.
• On a family plan, each member verifies their own email or number. No member sees another member's results.
• Gifts: the person you give to verifies their own email and owns the result. You never see it.
• You may not get around the code step, or use a code that was sent to someone else.

What the checks are, and what they are not

• Results come from licensed sources and official portals. No source knows of every leak or every web page, so “nothing found” does not prove that you were not exposed.
• “Could not check” is not “nothing found”. When a source is down or a daily limit is reached, the report says it may be incomplete. A paid check that could not run costs you nothing.
• A finding says what a leak or a page held. It does not say that your own card, ID or password was in it.
• Verdicts carry a confidence, not a certainty. They are our best reading, not proof, and not legal, financial or security advice.
• Guided checks show you how to use an official portal yourself. We never log in to, or act on, a government, bank, telephone company or credit bureau portal for you. When you mark a guided check done, that is your own statement, and it is shown as self-reported.
• Your Privacy Score moves only when a finding or a recorded fix changes.
• We help you contain exposure, and we ask platforms to remove things. The platform decides. We never say that something was removed unless the platform says so, and no service can take a person off the whole web.
• The photo search shows the pages one image-search service lists for your picture. It can miss copies, and a “possible match” is only a page that may show it. Check each page yourself.
• Demo builds show sample data and say so on every report.

What is free

• The free email check: for any email you verify, your Privacy Score and your top 3 findings from known leaks, up to 3 checks a day. The other findings show as labels only.
• Always free: the message checker (a daily number of checks), the digital-arrest shield, the payment-fraud responder, the help page for intimate images (it points to StopNCII.org), the phone safety checklists, the Contain checklists, and downloading or deleting your data.
• Phone checks are paid, and so are the full report, photo search, fix letters and plans: see below.

What is paid

• Every price includes tax: GST 18% in India and VAT 5% in the UAE. The price you see is the price you pay, and your invoice shows the tax inside it.
• In India you pay in rupees, by card or UPI. In the UAE you pay in dirhams by card, and small items are paid with credits from a pack. You pay on our payment provider's own page: we never see your card or bank details.
• One table sets every price on this site. This page shows the same table.

One-time items

• You pay once. Nothing renews. The page that sells an item shows what you get before you pay.
• An item is used only when its check or letter succeeds. If it fails, the item or the credits come back to you by themselves. Credits are consumed only on success.
• A phone check is paid before we send the code. If the code fails, runs out or cannot be sent, the check comes back to you.
• Credits (UAE): you buy them in packs by card and spend them on one-time items at the credit price shown. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or withdrawn. The smallest card payment in dirhams is AED 20.
• Deep Clean is sold only while everything in it is switched on; the plans page shows what it holds.
• A report credit opens the full report for one of your own emails or numbers. You get one from a referral or from a gift. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• Referrals: when a friend verifies an email and enters your code, you each get 1 report credit. Rewards are capped per month, and there is none for referring yourself.

Plans

• Plus: ₹99 a month or ₹799 a year in India; AED 19 a month or AED 149 a year in the UAE. It renews on the day you bought it, each month or each year as you chose, at that price with tax included, until you cancel.
• Premium: ₹199 a month or ₹1499 a year in India; AED 29 a month or AED 249 a year in the UAE. It renews on the day you bought it, each month or each year as you chose, at that price with tax included, until you cancel.
• Family: ₹399 a month or ₹2999 a year in India; AED 49 a month or AED 449 a year in the UAE. It renews on the day you bought it, each month or each year as you chose, at that price with tax included, until you cancel.
• Women's Safety Pack: ₹149 a month in India; AED 25 a month in the UAE, sold only while it is on sale. It renews each month on the day you bought it, at that price with tax included, until you cancel.

• What each plan includes is on the plan cards, which list only what works today.
• Cancel in two taps on your account page: Cancel plan, then confirm. No form, no survey, no offer. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then stops, and nothing more is charged.
• One plan per account at a time. To change plan, cancel first, then buy the other one.
• A one-time item or Deep Clean bought in the last 7 days counts against the first charge of a plan. In dirhams the first charge is lower by that amount. In rupees the full price is charged, the credit shows as a balance on your account page, and we refund it to you within 7 working days. Later charges are always the full price.
• A new price applies only from the next charge after we tell you, and you can cancel before it applies.
• A plan paid in dirhams can be resumed before its end date. A plan paid in rupees cannot be resumed; buy it again after it ends. In India you can also stop a plan by withdrawing the payment mandate in your bank or UPI app.
• Delete everything on your account page also cancels a running plan.

Fix letters

• A fix letter asks a platform to remove or block something about you: a copy of your photo, or your email or number on a page. It starts from a finding marked Remove on your report, or from a photo match.
• We write it from a template. You read it, type the email or number you verified once to fill it (it stays on the page and is not stored), tick the authorization box and press the approve-and-send button. Nothing is sent without that.
• Where a platform publishes a mailbox for such requests, we email the letter on your behalf. Otherwise you paste it into the platform's own form and mark it sent.
• A letter costs one of your plan's monthly letters, or one fix-letter item. It is held when you approve it and comes back if the send fails. A form letter you have not marked sent within 14 days comes back to you too.
• The platform decides. We never say that something was removed unless the platform says so. A template is not legal advice.

Refunds

• A paid check that failed: the item or the credits come back by themselves, at once. Nobody has to ask.
• A gift nobody claimed: the link lasts 30 days. Then it expires and you get the full price back, to how you paid. A gift paid with credits gives its credits back.
• A one-time item or credit pack you did not use at all: ask within 7 days of paying and we refund it in full.
• A wrong charge (the wrong amount, twice, or after you cancelled): the extra charge back in full, as soon as we see it.
• A plan: cancelling stops future charges, and the plan runs to the end of what you paid for. We do not refund a plan period that has already started, except where the law requires it.
• Not refunded: a check that ran and gave an answer, also “nothing found” (the work was done); credits that were spent; a plan period that already ran.
• How to ask: write to the privacy address below from the email you verified, or give the number you verified, and name the purchase (the invoice number is on your account page). The money goes back the way you paid. We never need your name, an ID number or your card details for a refund.

What we never do

• We never ask for your card, bank or government ID details. Nobody needs those to check a leak, and asking for them is what phishing looks like.
• We never check anyone but you: no searches of other people, no name searches, and nothing that looks for a person by their face.
• We never keep your email or number in full, your password, the leaked data itself, or the text of a message you check. The privacy notice says what we do keep.
• We never sell personal data, show ads, or load anything from other companies in your browser.
• We never log in to a government, bank, telecom or bureau portal for you, and we never scrape websites or download leaked files.
• The message checker never names a person or an organisation as the sender or as a scammer.

Accounts, data and families

• Your account is the email or number you verified. A plan or a purchase attaches to it. There is no password: a fresh code signs you in.
• What we keep, why, for how long, and your rights to see or delete it are in the privacy notice. Delete everything on your account page ends your checks, results and sessions at once; payment records stay as tax law asks, with nothing in them that names you.
• On a family plan the person who bought it manages payments, invoices and cancelling. Each member verifies their own email or number and sees only their own results; the buyer never sees a member's findings.
• A gift link carries nothing about you or the person you give to. They claim it by verifying their own email and own the result. You see only whether it was claimed.
• Elder Shield: the person you give it to claims it with their own email and gets that email's full report free, then a monthly check against known leaks, with alerts, for the months the gift covers, while that check is switched on for the site.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Check, or try to check, anyone else's email, number, name or photo.
• Use PrivaCheckup to find, follow, watch, harass, threaten or harm anyone.
• Upload a photo of anyone under 18, or an intimate image (for those, our help page points to StopNCII.org).
• Give false details, pretend to be someone else, or use a code that was not sent to you.
• Use the message checker or a share card to accuse a named person.
• Use results to screen someone else for a job, a tenancy, a loan or anything like it.
• Automate, scrape, overload or resell the service, or try to get around its limits or its security.

• If you do, we may refuse a request, limit, pause or close your access, and refund what is unused. We report to the authorities where the law requires it.
• Fair use: each plan has limits on emails and numbers per member, photo searches and fix letters per month, and message checks per day. The plan cards and your account page show them.

Our liability

• We provide the service as it is. We are not liable for losses from a finding we missed, a verdict that was wrong, or a fix that did not work, to the extent the law allows.
• We are not liable for what a platform, a bank, a portal or the source of a leak does or fails to do.
• Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or a right you have under consumer law.

Governing law and disputes

• These terms are governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates.
• If you have a complaint, write to us first (below). We confirm that we received it within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.

Changes to these terms

• We post every change on this page with its date, and we tell signed-in users on the site before a change applies to them.
• We may add, change or pause a feature. We never sell a feature that is switched off.
