Privacy notice
Only you can check you: every check starts with a one-time code to your own email or number. This notice says what we keep, why, for how long, where, who helps us, and what you can do about it.
Last updated: 2026-10-02
Each one receives only what its step needs, from our server, over an encrypted connection. Your browser does not talk to them, except a payment page you choose to open. A processor that is off receives nothing.
A daily clean-up deletes each kind of record after the time below.
| Record | Kept for |
|---|---|
| One-time code requests | 24 hours |
| Sign-in sessions | 1 hour, or until you sign out |
| Checks and what they found | 12 months |
| Photo search results | 12 months |
| A kept photo | Until you delete it or cancel, and at most 7 days after your plan stops keeping photos |
| An alert address | Until you remove it, and at most 7 days after your alerts end |
| A parent's email for the monthly check | While the gift lasts, then at most 7 days |
| Message checks | 30 days |
| Proof of consent | 3 years |
| Counts of calls to processors (nothing about you) | 90 days |
| Counters against abuse | Minutes to one day |
| Fixes, letters, your account list and in-app alerts | Until you delete them, or use Delete everything |
| Invoices and the payment ledger | As long as tax law requires. They hold no email, phone or name. |
| Disk snapshots | 14 days |
