What to keep for the report

Tick what you have. This list stays on this page and is not saved.

The number that called, and the time and date of each call.
A screenshot of the video call, the chat or the letter they showed, if you can take one safely.
The name of any app they asked you to install, and whether you did.
Any payment reference, with the amount and time, if money moved.

Warn a family member

A family safe word

A voice on the phone can be copied from a few seconds of audio. Agree on a safe word with your family, and ask for it whenever a call asks for money or a code, however familiar the voice sounds. Anyone who does not know it is not who they say they are.

We pick three words for you. They are shown once, never stored. Write them down, tell your family in person, and never send them by message.
